Dear Vendors,
We just completed another great knife show here in Boise.  I want to thank everyone for coming and being a part of it.
The Knife Performance Challenge was a great success and a lot of fun.  We will be doing the challenge again and expect many more knife makers participating.
I am holding last year's table locations vendors through May, so don't delay sending in your 2012 application and payment.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW VENDORS.  New vendors will receive available tables (from front to back) on a first come first serve basis.
Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.  I look forward to seeing all of you back here in Boise.

A few comments about the show found on various knife forums.......
Ed Fowler     This was the best ‘first-time’ show I have ever attended. We plan to go back next year, the promoters of the show really worked at making it a good one. Lodging prices were the lowest I have seen in years. It was a real down home atmosphere show for us, and I believe there was a knife there for anyone who wanted one to fit their needs and pocket book.
Bruce Bump   What a nice show to go to, I can’t wait until next year.
Ed Caffrey   I just got back home this evening. I think the show was a scream'in success!!!  For me, it was the best show I have had in the last 18 months. The crowds were great both Saturday and Sunday....in fact, I think there were more people at the (Boise) show on Sunday afternoon than I saw on Sunday afternoon at the Blade Show the last two years.
People were smiling, excited, and several show patrons shook my hand and said "Thank you for coming to the show!" That's something that I've not heard in a LONG time. I will certainly go back next year.
There is no doubt in my mind that if we as Knifemakers support it, within 2-3 years, this show will be far better than Blade West ever was. It was obvious that the people of the Boise area want a high caliber knife show in their area, and are happy that it has arrived. My hat's off to the promoters, the table holders, and the show patrons.....it was the best overall knife show that I have attended in the last 18 months.
Bruce Bingenheimer   Trust me it was busy all day Saturday. Sunday was only slightly slower. Not a typical Sunday showing as of late.
Eric Fritz     Attendance I felt was really good. Sales for me were great and it was the best knife show I have ever had other than Blade 2 years ago. It was a fun show and I look for it to get even better in the coming years.

Mark Farley “It’s a Burl”   Dave put on one of the best organized shows I have ever been to. I was even able to drive my van inside the building next to my tables to unload everything. I can't wait for next year in Boise.

Bill Burke    The show, in my opinion was great.  The sales were good for a first year show, and the attendance was outstanding.

Raymond Richard   I plan on doing the show again next year. This show was the best advertised show I had ever attended. Dave did an excellent job promoting it!

Bruce Barnett     Having come all the way from Australia, I was more than happy with the show. I thought for a 1st time show, it did very well, and especially on Sunday. The one thing that really stood out for me, as also mentioned by Ed Caffery, was the people of Boise thanking us "out of towners" for coming to the show. I certainly intend making it an annual pilgrimage.   Cheers!

John Doyle   The show was great for me too. Friday we got a chance to go around and meet and talk to some other makers. Saturday was so busy, I don't think most of us got away from our tables much at all. Sunday was a bit slower in the morning, but not by much. Sunday afternoon was back to being pretty busy again. It was a great show for the makers and the general public as well. I didn't hear a single negative thing from the makers or the public. A good show for sure and I'll definitely be back next year.

Burl Source     There is no question whether I will be attending next year; I had no complaints whatsoever. Dave did a great job organizing and promoting and made this a great show.
